Choirs

Our Music Ministries provide musical leadership for worship along with opportunities for fellowship. All groups welcome new members.

Wesleyan Chorus

As the “flagship” choir of our music program, the Wesleyan Chorus has a long history of singing the fine sacred choral literature of the church. This choir provides excellent music for Sunday worship and special services. With both trained and untrained voices, the chorus sings each Sunday from September through May, and occasionally presents events such as dinner theaters and seasonal concerts. During the summer months soloists or ensembles provide music for our worship experiences. If you are a singer who loves the joy of making great music, this is the group for you.

Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m.

Intergenerational Choir

Welcome singers ages 6 to 106! Family groups often participate along with elementary age children, teens and adults. The choir sings approximately twice a month in worship, and is a little relaxed and a lot of fun! They particularly enjoy upbeat tunes and global songs, with an occasional touch of the traditional.

This ensemble rehearses Sundays immediately after the worship service.

 Angels’ Wings Handbell Choir

The musicians in this group use five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and five octaves of Malmark choirchimes to play a variety of handbell literature. If you are interested in joining this group please contact Denise. There are frequent openings, and even if you have no handbell experience, with a little help and practice you can be having a great time playing handbell music.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Cantabile

CantabileThis ensemble, led by Will Rand, brings a less traditional sound and repertoire to the worship service. Composed of singers and instrumentalists and welcoming all who care to offer their gifts, this group frequently participates in the worship service and does not yet have a fixed rehearsal schedule.

To learn more or get involved, contact Pastor Larry or Pastor Elizabeth.

True Colors Chorale
