Children's Ministry

Church School is available for children from infants to 5th grade. Our infants and toddlers receive quality care in the nursery during Church School and Worship.

Nursery is available so that parents can attend Church School and Worship.

Children from Kindergarten through fifth grade enjoy lectionary based activities led by quality volunteer teachers. Special programs are offered during the year such as Christmas pageants, special Sundays, etc. Contact Peg Hull (419)822-9424

Youth Ministry

The Youth class is led by a team of adults who focus on the growing in faith, and study topics of interest. The classes are interactive and creative, capturing the attention of high schoolers . Contact Chuck and Sue Thayer (419)-882-3449

The Tweeners class is for those in grades 6-8 and focuses on issues of maturing into the teenage years.

Youth Fellowship takes place the first and third Sunday afternoons. Programs focus on Faith, Fellowship, Fun and Mission. The youth also participate in an annual Mission Work Trip. Contact Pastor Karen (419) 473-1167

Adult Classes

There are three adult classes available, each with its own flavor and style:

Advent Searchers Class: Meets to discuss various topics and often has speakers from outside the church. Lively discussions take place in this class, which has a fellowship time on the first Sunday of the month and periodic social activities. Contact: Phyllis Charles (419)-872-1289

Parables Class: Studies books which relate to current issues in religion and daily life. A very focused and open group, conversations are often challenging and mind opening. Contact Lou D'Amato (419)-841-7388

Theology in the Movies Class: Watches movies and discusses their theological meaning for us in today's world. Movies vary from comedy to drama to children's classics. Contact Sylvia Sims (419)-539-7526
